The Ortovox Ascent 28 S Avabag has a waterproof zipper that runs all the way around so that the contents of the backpack are always easy to reach. The inside is light in color for a better view and there is a provision for a hydration system. On the outside are fastening systems for skis (diagonal), snow shoes and ice axes.
